In 2009 , Joanna visited Nepal with Habitat for Humanity. A group of 17 people, alongside local villagers, provided the labour which successfully built two basic houses in a village in the Central Terai region.

Effective consultation has unlocked many of our projects. Listening and learning is a key part of the briefing process.
